Art Business Links

by theabundantartist on October 27, 2009

Being somewhat averse to the street fair, craft fair, or gallery circuit, I found Tammy Vitale’s summation of Three Things to Remember After the Art Show to be highly valuable – especially since she offers a lot more than three tips. Most important tip in my opinion – get people’s contact information!

Gary Vaynerchuck has made a career out of being outrageous in social media. He’s got over a million followers on Twitter and Kirsty Hall counts herself as one of them. Gary V, as he’s called, wrote a book called Crush It and that book managed to convince Kirsty to try video blogging. She does a decent job of it, and her insights into Gary V’s book are spot on. The real reason I share this link, however, is because her chicken Pepper is hilarious. Thanks Kirsty!

thanks, Cory! Glad you found the post informative! And I’m not just collecting names and information. I’m working that list too, a second part that often gets overlooked. And reworking my blog into a website as we speak. Here’s to 2010! May it be a great year for all of us!

Thanks for the link, Cory, I appreciate it. I have a sneaking suspicion that the chickens are going to end up being far more famous than me! That’s part of the reason that I called my video channel, Art & Chickens.
