So far, I have not found much information, but your idea of a business plan sounds worthwhile. Should I get a lawyer or download proper documents to establish myself as a small business owner? Drawing class, materials, frames, prints, plus travel to complete works or show art are expenses that I had not considered as more than the cost of a hobby until "business expense" was mentioned. I do not plan on being a full time artist, but rather I am doing this for my satisfaction. Still, I do not know what "real" artists do. Hopefully you can point me in the right direction. Maybe, I do not need to concern myself with this?
