Come See Me Speak & Teach

by theabundantartist

Next week on September 14 there are two major events in Portland, OR that I want to tell you all about.

The first one I mentioned a few weeks ago here on the blog. It’s the Portland Area Theater Alliance’s Life After Print event. I’ll be speaking with Trish (Pancio) Mead from Portland Center Stage and George Domurot from PDX Ticket Network on using social media to market performing arts events.

Presented By: PATA
Where: Mark Spencer Hotel, 409 SW 11th Ave, Portland
The Pearl Room: Downstairs off the Courtyard
When: Monday, September 14th, 2009
Start time: 6:30 PM
Cost: Free to members, $7 for non-members

Light refreshments and coffee will be served.
RSVP for this event to Mikki. (Don’t quote me on this, but I’m pretty sure they’ll let you in if you show up at the door.)

The Second big event next Monday is the MindGlo opening social. There’s been a big buzz building for MindGlo in the Portland neighborhood. MindGlo will be offering a multitude of classes on all sorts of topics…including classes taught by yours truly (more on that in a sec).

MindGlo is holding an opening celebration at Bridgeport Brew pub. If you want to come and party with a bunch of super awesome teachers and their groupies (sic: spouses), then hit up this Upcoming page for all the details.
