Hi Jaime – great question. If it’s a well-known artist, I would recommend contacting an auction house like Christies. If they won’t sell it, then I’d recommend eBay with a reserve price of whatever you think is fair.

I’m in need of help and hope you might be able to assist or direct me in the right direction. I have a painting by fairly known artist and I am trying to find collectors of his work in order to sell this painting of his. It’s one of his first so I know a collector would be interested but how does one find people who might be interested?
