This weekend I was writing up a sales page for the upcoming Choose Your Own Adventure Group Coaching Session and I had thought:
I should probably let you know what’s coming.
I hate spammy pitches as much as the next guy. I strive in my dealings with fellow artists to be as straightforward as possible, so here’s the deal: I’m going to let you in on what’s in the course, and you can ask me whatever questions you have up front. That way, when enrollment opens early next week, you’ll know whether you want to do this or not.
Here’s the basic idea. In the class you’re going to learn:
- How to sell more art. If you implement the changes I recommend, you should see a change in your business by the time the class is over. These aren’t just cookie-cutter changes either. We’ll take time to look at each business and give feedback and suggestions. In the end, this is really what it’s all about. You’ll learn how to sell more art when we go over the following points.
- You’ll come away with a website that is fully capable of selling your work online. If you already have a website, you’ll come away with an improved site that make you happy and your fans excited to interact with your work. The progress you’ll make will depend on how hard you work and where you’re already at.
- You’ll know more about how to ask for the sale in a non-obnoxious way. I know artists hate sales, but this was the number one thing that all of you asked me for – so I’m putting it in here.
- You’ll learn how to start building a fan base and energizing them around your work. This is important because people buy art on emotion. If they’re excited about your work, they’ll buy it. Plus, it’s a lot more fun to have people who immediately respond to your work, rather than throwing it out there and not seeing people’s reactions.
- How to leverage social media, email, and search engines to sell your art. When it comes down to it, these are the building blocks of online sales. It’s the most boring part, but it’s the stuff that makes you money.
The course wills start April 6, 2010. It’ll be every Tuesday night at 6 PM Pacific Time. There’ll be assignments given each week and accountability calls to follow up on what we do.
Also, there’s going to be some pretty amazing gifts that go along with the course. I’m really looking forward to it, and I’m so excited about all of the feedback that everyone has given me over the past three weeks.
The last thing I’ll say about this today – I guarantee that this class is going to be worth it. I’m literally going to offer a money-back guarantee, so get ready.
Any questions?
